Brompton race season finishes on a high in Czech Republic

09 October 2012

Held 20km south of the city of Brno in the Czech Republic, Saturday 29th September saw the final Brompton National Championship of 2012 take place.

This was the second time that a National Championship had been held in the Czech Republic, and it saw almost 50 participants compete for the titles of Fastest Male and Fastest Female. A full report can be found in the racing section of the website. It was a busy final month of racing, with the Swiss Championship at Interlaken, the Portuguese Championship in Lisbon and the BeNeLux Championship in Antwerp all taking place within a few weeks of each other. As all these events took place after the 2012 World Championship in August they will feed into the 2013 World Championship, details of which will be announced early next year.
